About Northampton University

Education has an extensive history in Northampton dating back to the 13th century whilst the University of Northampton has evolved from the beginning of the 20th century.

The university had 13,285 students spread across its two campuses in 2014/15, divided into six schools: Arts; Science and Technology (formerly Applied Sciences); Education; Health; Business and Social Sciences offering a wide range of undergraduate degrees, foundation degrees, diplomas and a variety of postgraduate opportunities up to PhD level.
